300 games for the famous Manly Sea-Eagles
Recently racking up 300 games as captain of his beloved Manly Sea-Eagles was a massive achievement for Daly Cherry-Evans but his career also includes milestone that would make most Rugby League players envious including premierships, Origin victories and representing his country.
At 34 years of age there is no stopping this champion half, he again showed why he is one of the games best halves playing a huge role in this years State of Origin victory to go along with victories in 2020 and 2022.
He always smiles when he talks about his 3 girls, Navi (10), Harvie (8) and Tully (5).
“Being a dad to three daughters is amazing” he said.
Daly loves anything with sugar but gummy bears top the list! The girls definitely have a sweet tooth. They love going on daddy daughter dates to get ice cream
Vessa
Daly talks glowingly about his wife Vessa.
“Vessa and I have been together for 15 years and I can honestly say I love her as much as I ever have. She provides with me so much comfort and does an amazing job as a mother. I think we make a great team as parents and balance each other out as people.
He then tells us what his best role is within the family.
“I’ll be first to admit there are plenty of things that I don’t offer as a father but I can hang my hat on my cooking. The girls enjoy helping me out with dinner every now and then which is fun but it’s the cakes and cookies that they love helping out with most.
His daughter Harvie confirmed this by saying “Dad is really good at cooking I love his food”
